Spring has Sprung

As the blossoms start to bloom and the sun peeks out from behind the clouds, it's time to revamp our wardrobes for the vibrant season of spring. For S/S 24, the focus is heavy on everyday basics, and layering is the name of the game this season, allowing you to adapt to the unpredictable British weather with ease. Opt for lightweight fabrics like chiffon or silk for your base layers, adding a touch of elegance to your ensemble while keeping you cool on warmer days. Then, incorporate outerwear pieces such as trench coats or tailored blazers for those brisk mornings or chilly evenings. This juxtaposition of textures not only adds visual interest but also ensures you're prepared for whatever Mother Nature throws your way.

This season is all about relaxed, laid back dressing and finding fresh ways to wear classic pieces such as a white button-down shirt and jeans. Denim is, as always , on trend, and a grey jean is the perfection way to transition from winter to summer. Ditch your skinnies, and opt for a more relaxed fits such as a straight leg, a baggy jean, or if you are feeling bold and adventurous- the of the moment Horseshoe Jean. Whilst it can be fun to play with trends, it's always key to dress for your bodyshape , as what works for one person can look very different on someone else with a different silhouette.
