COLOUR ANALYSIS
What is Colour Analysis and Why Is it Important?

Colour analysis, also known as colour profiling or personal colour analysis, is a process that helps individuals determine the most flattering colours for their clothing, makeup ( even nail colours ), and accessories based on their unique skin tone, hair colour, and eye colour. The goal is to identify a person's "season" or colour palette, which typically falls into one of four categories: Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter.
What are the Benefits of a Colour Analysis Session ?

The importance of colour analysis for your style choices lies in enhancing your overall appearance. Wearing colours that complement your natural features can:
-
Enhance Your Skin Tone: The right colours can make your skin appear healthier and more radiant.
-
Brighten Your Eyes: Colours that harmonize with your eye colour can make your eyes pop.
-
Flatter Your Hair Colour: The right hues can complement and enhance your natural hair color.
-
Create Harmony: Wearing colors that align with your personal palette creates a cohesive and harmonious look.

How is Colour Analysis conducted?

Using an array of coloured drapes, we observe how each hue interacts with your skin, eyes, and hair. It's like a personalised colour canvas where the drapes reveal the ones that make you shine brightest. The drapes guide us to discover your signature colours, ensuring that your wardrobe becomes an extension of your best self, and help us to build the foundations of your perfect capsule wardrobe.

By understanding your colour profile, you can make more informed choices when shopping for clothing, accessories, and makeup. This can save you time and money, as you'll be less likely to purchase items that don't suit you. Additionally, it allows you to build a wardrobe that works well together, as items within your color palette tend to coordinate effortlessly.
Colour analysis is conducted through a personal consultation usually alongside a Wardrobe Edit session to best guide you in assessing your undertones and identifying your dominant season. This is then followed up by a Personal Shopping session, where I am armed with the knowledge of the colour palette most suited to you which allows me to begin creating a wardrobe for you that works in harmony together. This helps to eliminate a wardrobe full of clothes that doesn't work together . Keep in mind that personal preferences also play a role, and the analysis is a guide rather than a strict set of rules. Ultimately, it's about feeling confident and comfortable in what you wear while enhancing your natural beauty.
